much like me and you the humans in the twilight universe. they go to school, sleep, eat and have friends and they have short lifespans. they bleed and are targets for the vampires.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]vampires are beautiful, perfect. they never age and are so fast it's blinding, as well as amazingly strong and aware. the myths humans create are of the bad guy, and partially it's right. they crave blood, human blood at it's purist. yet there are another kind. the vegetarian vampires. their eyes are golden instead of crimson and they drink animal blood instead of human, thus protecting human lives.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]there are the shapeshifters and the children of the moon. the children of the moon can only change form at the full moon, and they tend to be more savage and bloodthirsty anyway. they travel in packs, but there is continual fighting between them, and murder as there isn't in the shapeshifting packs. for the shapeshifters they can phase almost on demand, if they master their skill well. newbies become overheated and can phase (quite painfully) when extremely angry.
